Shipment of Ash Kit

Ash kits are mailed to our customers within 2 business days of the order being placed. Inside you will find everything you need to securely mail a small sample of cremation ashes back to us, including a prepaid return shipping label except for International orders.  If you live outside of the USA you will need to purchase the return shipping for the ash kit from your local shipping courier.  We will notify you when the kit is returned to us safely and email you the anticipated shipment date at that time.

Shipment of completed memorials

All memorials are packaged with care for secure delivery by USPS.  They will include tracking information and be fully insured.  We will send the tracking number so you can follow the shipping progress online. All unused ashes will be returned to you along with your Locked In Art memorial. Our typical turnaround time is approximately 4-6 weeks from the time we receive your ash kit.

Expedited shipping

If you would like Express shipping you will find that option available at checkout within the USA only.  Express shipping applies to the final shipment and not the shipping speed of the ash kit.  Delivery for Express Mail can take up to 2 business days.  Please understand Express shipping also does not apply to the speed of production time (4-6 weeks after ash kit is in our possession), only the final shipment speed.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

We pack our memorials very securely to prevent any damage in transit.  In the event that your order arrives damaged or is lost, contact us immediately.   Do not dispose of any of the shipping materials as they will be needed to file an insurance claim.   We fully insure every order that is sent and handle the insurance process for you.  Once an insurance claim is paid out to us, we will recreate your memorial for you.

Inspect your memorial carefully upon receipt of your order.  Any claim for shipping damage must be notified to us within 3 days of confirmed delivery.
